CEO of SchoolPool, Nehemiah Stewart

Nehemiah Stewart, originally from Washington, D.C., is a chemistry and mathematics double major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Along with his research-driven focus, Nehemiah is the President and CEO of a community-focused services company, SchoolPool, LLC.

Currently, SchoolPool, LLC has operated through its premier product, Vector Rideshare, which focuses on connecting collegians and faculty on carpooling trips by their '.edu' email. Ignited by recent movements in the nation, Nehemiah began an initiative called Level the Playing Field along with faculty, alumni, and staff at UNC Chapel Hill and nearby HBCU, North Carolina Central University. Level the Playing Field seeks to provide black and minority students with growth opportunities by a three-phase development program, the culmination of which is placed into internship positions.

In his spare time, Nehemiah plays the string bass for his university's jazz band and is the captain of the JV Men's Basketball Team at UNC. In the future, Nehemiah seeks to continue answering the questions of the world by attending graduate school in Chemistry and implementing the successful programs he has initiated thus far in whatever place he calls home.
