Professional Soccer Player and the Founder of Frugal Athlete: Amobi Okugo

Amobi Okugo is a professional soccer player, entrepreneur, and the founder of the financial-literacy platform called, A Frugal Athlete. He's been a professional soccer player since 2010 when he was drafted after his freshman year at UCLA as part of the 2010 Generation Adidas Class. He currently plays for Austin Bold FC.

After launching A Frugal Athlete, Amobi launched his new foundation, Ok U Go. The foundation’s mission is to help children from low-income backgrounds to unearth their talents and passions to build a better life for not only themselves but also for their families and communities. Through financial educational, athletic, and social programs, the foundation plans to provide the necessary tools, avenues, and exposure for children to use their talents and passions to make their mark in society.
