Encompassing the understanding that “hurt people hurt people,” creator Tisa T. Peyton brings us superhero TYNOMITE!! to help heal our earthly trauma through an other-worldly audio and graphic novel series in collaboration with Oakland-based publisher INVADER.
Synopsis
TYNOMITE!! & The LOVERevolution takes place in 2115 techno-utopia, Aemuria. Hailing from The Planet of Venus, superhero TYNOMITE!! raises the consciousness of Planet Earth by exposing the lower earthly plane villains using her compassion powers.
TYNOMITE!!’s team includes a couple of “good” angels. Together, they work to bring forth The Colossal Musical Concert, “The LOVERevolution,” that allows Planet Earth to ascend to its most peaceful, loving, and harmonious state.

Ashcan Creation & Publishing
We are currently writing and illustrating a series of TYNOMITE!! “ashcans” — small black and white comic books that will introduce our characters to the world.
We need your help as a Creator Advocate to raise $15,000 by June 1, 2022, for the production and publication of these ashcans, which will be distributed through INVADER.
After this stage, Creator Advocates will take part in the development of an original TYNOMITE!! soundtrack, performed by local San Francisco Bay Area music artists!

Tisa T. Peyton, Creator
Bay Area Native, Tisa T. Peyton began her artistic journey by interning with Oakland’s Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame. From an early age, she realized that producing was one of her passions and embarked on an internship with KTVU Channel 2, and produced her first commercial for OnLok Senior Health. She graduated from Hampton University with a BA in Broadcast Journalism.
Soon after graduating, Tisa received the opportunity to work in Los Angeles at CBS TV City and landed a rare opportunity of being the only female of color in the Director’s Booth of the LIVE show, “Real Time with Bill Maher” on HBO. Although Tisa’s adrenaline was high from “keeping the time” in live television, she knew that there was a higher calling for her life. While in Los Angeles, she began honing in on her Voice Artistry craft.
Tisa soon left HBO to head back to the Bay Area to pursue her own dreams where Tisa created the animation feature, TYNOMITE!! & The LOVERevolution. Tisa was delighted to connect with Arabella DeLucco at WeXL, who encouraged Tisa to birth TYNOMITE!!. Since their alliance, Arabella partnered Tisa with INVADER Comics’ Creator, Mike Perkins. Tisa is elated to share her gift of TYNOMITE!!’ & The LOVERevolution with the world.
Michael Perkins, Founder of Invader Comics
Michael is the main point of contact for all creative teams and the editor in chief of INVADER. He is the creator of Beware... and a contributor to the NYT best-selling series FUBAR. He chooses and oversees all INVADER projects from beginning to end, from submission to publishing to licensing, and handles the social media presence.
Michael is also an Emmy award-winning writer/producer, working as a scriptwriter/creative director and story producer for production companies and clients worldwide. As an automotive journalist with more than 20 years of experience, he was instrumental in building the online presence for CarGurus - writing, producing, directing, and presenting more than 100 video reviews for the outfit as they established their presence on YouTube.
